Who Can Attend?

If you live in Douglas County, Paulding County, Fulton County, or Cobb County, you can apply to our school! It's that simple.

About the Lottery:

If we need to have a lottery, it will be on January 10th at 2:00 PM

  1. You don't have to be there to get a spot

  2. You can watch the lottery on Zoom if you want

  3. We'll let everyone know the results by January 17th

What If I Get In?

If you get a spot, congratulations! You have 7 days from notification to accept your seat or it will be forfeited.  After that there's some important paperwork to do (please see enrollment checklist for more details):

  1. Prove where you live (like a power bill or lease)

  2. Show your child's birth certificate

  3. Parent/Guardian’s photo identification (must be current)

  4. Share immunization records (or a form if you don't immunize)

What If I Don't Get In Right Away?

Don't worry! We'll put you on our waiting list. If a spot opens up, we'll call families in the order they were picked in the lottery.

  • A charter school is a public school that operates independently under a charter granted by the state. The Simple Vue Academy is unique in its focus on STREAM education and entrepreneurship for grades 6-12, with a mission to create sustainable pathways to success.

  • STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Reading/Writing, Engineering, Arts, and Math. This integrated approach combines these disciplines to provide a well-rounded education that prepares students for future careers and entrepreneurship opportunities.

  • The Simple Vue Academy is opening in August 2025. We do not have a physical location yet. To stay updated on our progress, please follow our social media channels and website. We also encourage community involvement through surveys and feedback sessions.

  • Our core principles are integrated into every aspect of school life. Students have a voice in their education through agency and choice. Ubuntu fosters a supportive community environment, and empowerment is cultivated through building self-efficacy and confidence in students' abilities.

  • The Simple Vue Academy will open with grades 6th and 7th and grow to serve students in grades 6-12. We encourage interested families to stay connected for updates on enrollment procedures.

  • Our curriculum combines STREAM education with guidance on business and financial management. Students will have opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills through project-based learning, mentorship programs, and real-world applications of their studies.
